KISS ME KATE

These are the pieces for 2009's spring musical, Kiss Me Kate; the playbill was featured on Jay Leno briefly on March 31st, 2009. That was incredibly awesome.
The whole thing in total took three months to complete, from December 2008 to March 2009. Kiss Me Kate is a musical by Cole Porter that's a performance within a performance. The characters in the musical are themselves in a dramatic production of Shakespeare's "The Taming of the Shrew". I tried to reflect in my artwork both 1940's and Renaissance/ comedia dell'arte influences.
